Prescription gel composed of hyaloronic acid or calcium, natural substances found in the body. Products are applied below the skin to add extra volume.

MEDICAL GRADE CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels correct a variety of skin imperfections such as blemishes/acne, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, fine lines, sun damage. The procedure exfoliates the outer layers of the skin, revealing a new skin layer with improved tone, texture, and improved color by fading brown spots. Peels loosen dead cells from the surface of the skin and promotes a soother texture and glow. Removing dead cells prompts your body to generate a new layer of skin cells.

MIXTO DEEP CO2 LASER RESUFACING/ NON SURGICAL FACE LIFT

The fractional laser is used to reverse the effects of facial skin aging and sun damage to the skin. The treatment will have the effect of skin tightening, filling in lines and wrinkles, improving discoloration of the skin (brown spots) and improving the tone/texture of the skin and large pores diminish. Since all parts of the face age together, most fractional laser treatments are aimed at the entire face. Specifically, the laser can target the loose skin around the eyes, including the fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
The laser is also used to treat the peri-ocular rhytids which are the fine lines of the upper lip and lower lip. Overall, the laser will treat the entire face; treatments can also be performed on the neck and chest area. Treatment areas area customized depending on the patient's needs. Improvements are seen gradually and begin after the initial healing phase is complete at about 5 days.
The Co2 laser stimulates collagen production in the dermis (deep skin layer) that helps fill in the fine lines of your face. Since the laser penetrates deeper in the skin to stimulate collagen, a topical anesthetic as well as a local anesthetic and a sedative may be administered prior to the treatment. Collagen build up takes up to 6 months to complete. In general, one treatment is sufficient in achieving the desired results and the results are permanent. Depending on individual preference fractional laser treatments may be repeated every 1-2 years.
While there is no substitution for a facelift to improve the appearance of the neck and jowels, the fractional CO2 laser does produce skin tightening that will elevate the jowel and soften its appearance. In many patients this may be all that is needed to achieve the desired results.
Most patients describe a sun burn sensation for 2-4 hours post treatment and complete healing may require 6-12 days depending on the patient. A complete skin care regimen is included with the post laser instructions and must be followed in order to achieve best results and for appropriate healing. Direct sun exposure is contraindicated and the use of sun screen is a must. The patient returns to the clinic in 2 weeks for a follow up visit.

MIXTO FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER TREATMENT FOR ACNE SCARS

Fractional laser treatment is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy beam of laser light that interacts with the skin's surface causing the upper layer to peel off and regenerate new layer. During the process, collagen and elastin are regenerated. By treating only a fraction of the skin, it leaves the rest of the skin, especially the epidermis on top, uninjured so it can heal quickly.
A typical acne laser treatment with the fractional laser lasts about 30 - 45 mins. Anesthetic cream is applied prior to the treatment to aid in comfort.
